Dr. Elise Landau

Elise is originally from Southern California, where she began her training as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2011.  Across the greater Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas, Elise gained extensive experience in community and hospital clinics treating individuals and couples impacted by a broad range of psychological difficulties.

Since moving to Australia in 2015, Elise has continued to support the mental wellbeing of folks in the Melbourne community through her PhD and academic research, and clinical work in private practice. Elise is also an active Research Fellow involved in studies at Monash University designed to improve people’s sleep.

Elise regularly provides therapy for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes clients of all sexual orientations, genders, cultures, backgrounds, and faiths, and all relationship styles (including monogamous and poly relationships).

Elise is a mum of twins plus one and (mostly) enjoys the fun and chaos of raising children with her partner in Melbourne. When not working, Elise likes to hike, cycle, travel, and catch live music when possible.
